I’m Gabby, the face behind Up the Duff Doula Support. 

I’m a doula in the beautiful Newcastle and Hunter region.

I’m here to show you just how beneficial authentic, informed and continuous support can be in your transition to parenthood. 

I’m passionate about birth, mental health and reminding women of how strong and powerful they are! 

I have supported people for over ten years in some of their most vulnerable moments which has taught me just how much good support can change lives. 

A little about me.. I’m a coffee enthusiast, I’m at my best when the sun is shining and I’m active! I love outdoor adventures and camping and I believe there isn’t much in life that a good cuddle can’t fix. 

Whether you’re Up the Duff, fresh in the postpartum bubble or just wanting to feel more prepared. I’ve got you!

My why..

My decision to start Up the duff Doula Support comes from a place of genuine compassion, lived experience and a deep desire to make a difference. I’m driven by a vision of what birth could look like when women are fully supported, respected and empowered.  

 I’ve witnessed the gaps in the medical system and have seen too many women and their families fall through them, not given the support and care that is so deserved.  

 I also believe that early support continuing throughout pregnancy, birth and beyond can greatly change the trajectory of a woman's experience, her and her partners bond with their baby and their long term well-being.
